Omg, I read this book in 4 hours. An impressive debut, a moving portrayal of a love story. I definitely recommend this book to everyone, the book is very well written. The author left no stone unturned. So much drama and mystery.

I could not put the book down. From the very first page I was hooked. I could visualize every chapter as if I was apart of the story. The jaw dropping plot twist was everything. If you are in a book club I promise you will have plenty to talk about after reading this one. I suggest you buy this book by Patrice Page

This book was soooo good! Starting off reading it I thought I had the plot all figured out but nope. As I read there were many twists and turns that I was was truly shocked by. This book held my attention from beginning to end. I read it in two days which is very rare for me because it’s hard for me to find the time and attention span but this book sucked me in so much that I couldn’t put it down! I definitely need more books from this author!

Wow! This book needs to be made into a movie like now. This is a page turner and I’m ready for part two. This book left me absolutely mind blown.

Wow. I can’t even begin to tell you how good this book is! I didn’t see ANY of the twists and turns coming and all of my guesses were wrong. Kept me on the edge of my seat! Essence has some real decisions to make! And that’s all I’ll say. It’s a quick read — can do it in just a few hours.

Ms Page did her thing with her first novel. A love story with so many lies, secrets, and deception, I didn't know what to believe. This is well worth the read, and you will not be able to put it down. Essence, Madison, Christian, & Kristofer are truly something else. Love at first sight, quick courtship, quicker engagement, then marriage. Essence never took the time to truly know what she was getting into, and leaving unresolved issues with her best friend. Can't wait for the next book!

Well! This story starts out leading you to think that a typical dawg of a man has just been busted cheating on his poor, naive, unsuspecting wife. Boy, are you wrong! Five stars
